Painting nails - easier said than done

The other day (before Christmas) I decided would be the day I finally painted my nails. I had been kind of putting it off, or the days I had planned on doing it, forget. I have wanted to paint them because I felt as if having christmassy nails would make me feel more christmassy.

I always struggle to paint my nails because I am very impatient. I can't wait for them to dry. I am also terrible at painting, I go way over my nails and all around them. Also for me once I paint them I am very cautious and hardly do anything in fear that I will chip them.

Whenever I paint my nails I always get worried because if I fail while painting with my right hand (my writing one) then imagine how bad it will be when I paint with my left.

The other day when I painted them I had luster shine's lava (number 006). I really like this colour because it is sparkly and changes colour depending on the way the light hits it.

My Christmas day

I thought that I would tell you what Christmas is like in my family.  I know people celebrate in different ways so I thought telling how I celebrate would be nice.

I started by going to midnight mass. It was only my sister dad and I but we celebrated and worshipped the Lord. I then went to bed.

I woke up at 7 30 so that my brother wouldn't wake me up. We were only aloud into the lounge at 7 30 and everyone has to go in.

When we are in the lounge we open up our stockings and the presents that lay with them. In my stocking I had chocolate coins, sunblock, insect repellent, mustache erasers with pencils, girl online and an R5 pick necklace. I had two bigger presents that were under my stocking.  I had a new overnight bag as my last one got destroyed and the R5 smile sweater.

We then got the presents from under the tree out. I had one and it was from my godmother.  She had sent me a build an angel thing and hersheys kisses.

We then had about an hour to eat and get dressed for church. We ate and left.

At church we had a children's service and it was over quickly. We went home and chilled. We had ages until we were leaving. I read a lot of girl online.  We ate some lunch and packed overnight bags. At 1:30 we visited my god parents who are good family friends (not the one who had sent a gift earlier). We went and talked to them for a bit.

We then left and went to my grandparents. When we got there we opened up more presents. I got a selfie stick, pajamas, koala earings, a koala picture, a really nice green bag, a face mask, eyeshadow and mascara.

We then just sat around hanging out. We ate our dinner and then I finished my book (girl online) and went to sleep.

Helping people

Helping people is not my best quality but today I decided to go help my mother clean up her class room.

I don't like little kids. They do annoying stuff and then you can't be mad at them because they are younger than you. 

I also felt really awkward sitting in the staff room because I didn't know anyone.  I was jut sitting there being awkward.

This is the last time I help someone in a class room.

The beach

I had the best day today.  I met up with my friends and we went to the beach.

Today was a really nice day and we all had fun goofing off together. We were at the beach for about 3 hours but we all enjoyed every second of it. I may have gotten splashed and wet but I enjoyed the fun I had with my friends. We all took lots of photos embracing our inner hipster.

It was fun and whenever you are with your friends you should enjoy yourself.  It is one of my goals to hang out with my friends more often.

The Christmas parade

I had so much fun yesterday.  The day of the Christmas parade.  Now let me go into some detail.

The morning started for me at about 10:30 when I left to go to the dance studio. The dance studio is run by Deirdre Tarrant, Bret McKenzie from flight of the concords mum. She is really nice but this isn't about her. When I arrived Zach, one of my besties, was already there with his face painted and in costume.  I put my costume on and took my glasses off. Me and one of the other girls, who had arrived at the same time as me, went to make some of the others come in.  We then went and cued for makeup/face paint. 

In the cue for face paint we ended up waiting for a long long time.  Because we were on the last buses to leave we had to keep letting others go in front so they could have there face painted in time. We keep goofing off and having fun. We also got to look at all the costumes. There were so many cute little kids (mainly girls), there were fairys, green sparkly things, blue sparkly things and so much more. They were all so cute and had really nice face paint. 

When it was finally time to get our faces painted we started with getting the base done with one person and the next person did the rest. I was happy because I got so much glitter.

We loaded the bus and went to the parade line up. We met 3 other clowns there and got the big line of balloons. The balloons only needed 4 people to carry them.  The 3 clowns who we met there were helping blow up the balloons (there balloons for most people) knew what they were doing and needed one more person and that was me.

We got the balloons out the window and started to walk. We walked the whole parade route with no problems. We got to the end and started handing out balloons.  We then had to go get changed. I got changed and my dad came to pick me up. 

I went home and chilled for a bit.  I then went to nine lessons in carols. With my face paint still on. I got weird looks from people but I'm used to it.

When the day came to an end I didn't want to take the face paint off because of all the memories that I had with it but I still enjoyed myself and want to do it again.

Christmas

I know I said I would try post more often but when I dont have wifi at home it is hard. I am currently sitting in the library waiting for my friend to get picked up in like 3 quarters of an hour before I catch a bus and go to my costume fitting.

I am going to be in the Christmas parade.  Me and 3 of my friends (and some other people) are going to be dancing around the street dressed as clowns. Im really excited about it and need to think of other ways to get me in the Christmas spirit. I do think though that the Christmas parade is a great way to start!

How to get a follow

Yesterday was a great day. I wasn't stressing about the exams but it feels good to have them over with. But enough about exams, let's talk about something fun.

How to get a follow or a tweet or a rt:
We will start with the rt:
1. Watch a video
2. Tweet the video with a reference to the video at a time where the youtuber will just be waking up and twitter will be quite for them.
3. Wait

How to get a follow:
1. Get their tweets sent to your phone so that you know when they are doing a follow spree
2. Rt the tweets and favorite them
3. Spam
4. Wait till you get the follow

Or
1. Watch their video
2. See that you can do something to get a follow for a few days after the video is posted
3. Do it a day after the video is uploaded (so that your tweet will be one amongst a few not a lot)
4. Wait

How to get a tweet:
1. Wait for the person to say they are doing a tweet spree
2. Tweet them your funny and weird questions or comments
3. Wait

I know that they all end in wait but sadly they might not respond to you.

Exams

Im writing this at the bus stop. Im on my way to my second to last exam. I feel like now is the time to give advice on how to study but I'm not the best person for that. I haven't studied for this exam because it is basically following instructions.  I'm not too worried about this exam. 

I am now again waiting for a bus, this time though I have finished an exam and had lunch with my dad.  The exam was easy I finished with over an hour to spear but I had to stay for the full two hours.  The teacher let us do other things on the computer so I wasn't really really bored.  After my exam I had planned to meet up with my dad. We went out to lunch.  The main reason why I organized this was so he would buy me food. We had a nice talk while we were eating until he had to leave for a meeting.  I have had a nice day and there is still a lot more to come.

It has been a while

Hi, so I know what you are probably thinking.  What is happening you are posting again. Why did you leave?

So I have been really busy.  I had no free time and when I did I was catching up on YouTube or studying.  My exams are almost over, only 2 more to go. I should be able to post more regularly now maybe not everyday but most.  That is right this means I am back.

So now you probably want an update or more of an explanation.  Well for the past 2 terms my Sundays were taken up by rehearsals for a stage show.  It went wonderfully and I made some of my best friends.  In the time that I was gone I aged another year.  Here goes being 15. I got a follow from both Ricky Dillon and Shelby Waddell. 

Now I would update you on more but I am currently sitting in a library and there was a male standing outside the window who I think was judging me.  So this is where I end it.

Obsessions

I have be meaning to do this for a while. I am sorry I haven't updated I've just been busy. I have no free time and am a very busy bee. *starts flying away*. I have had some new obsessions that i thought i might share with you

1. Our 2nd life. I know its not that new but i have grown to love them more and am in the fandom more now 
   
2. fan fiction. this too has grown on me i read fan fiction on wattpad
3. twitter. I know this is an old one but I just hit 330 followers my twitter
4. The fault in our stars. I have been obsessed for ages but i just got my ticket to the movie but like if you haven't read it go read it.
   

There isn't much else that i can think of off the top of my head so goodbye for now i will be back.

My life ATM

I am sorry I have been busy. And lazy. Really lazy. and my friend found this but we have a mutual agreement that i won't mention her blog if she doesn't mention mine. so go check out her blog 'cause it is good. But don't tell her i sent you.

So as I said i have been busy. Now that It is nearing winter I have got sport trails. I play both Netball and hockey. So I am busy a lot more than some other people. I still haven't got the days for some of the things but I will become a lot more inactive because of it because i will be having 2 practices and 2 games each week so that will mean i am busy 4 days a week. I hope it will not bother my posting but it may get in the way sometimes. In other news I left the house 3 times on Saturday!! that is a big deal for me. I normally never leave the house full stop so for 3 time in one day that is amazing. I should go before i bore you to death. Expect another post tomorrow (but also don't because it might not come)

Advice on being sick

So I am sick. I am writing this during school. Because I am not there. Because I am sick. I don't like being sick. I am overheating while wearing (pretty much) nothing. So I am going to tell you ways on keeping cold (AKA not overheating) and getting better.
1. Wear as little clothes as you feel comfortable.
       - it may seem like a no brainier but it keeps your heat down
2. Stay hydrated
      -Keep on drinking it doesn't have to be water just a clear fluid
3. take some panadol
      - Not all drugs are good but when you are sick panadol is the best
4. Stay in bed
      - Bed rest is the best it gives you an excuse to be in bed all day
5. rest
      -just try and sleep it off.


SO I have to get off now but i hope this was somewhat helpful.

They followed me

So I keep going to right and things but i just can't bring myself to do it. There is stuff that I need to tell you first one (AKA the only one) I need to set a scene.
I was home alone, it was about 9:30 at night. There were a few lights on around the house. I was in a the lounge. In the corner of the room on the computer (that is where our computer is) and I decided to check my twitter account that I never go on (This) and saw that I had some certain people following me. I was sitting there crying for almost an hour. The people who followed me were these adorable people

Yeah they follow me for some reason and I am just so happy just thinking about it.

I has Ideas

I just haven't been in the mood to write. But I was thinking that if I made like a series that I would post every Wednesday. I would always post on that one topic every certain day and then Yeah. So I was thinking maybe one on Wednesday's (starting next week) and it would be about school. just school in general but I need to come up with the name for it, maybe School on Wednesday's and it will be about school on Wednesdays because they are different from every other day at school and then I finish that series I start a new on on a different day. Yeah I like that idea so i will do that. Be prepared. I think that is it for today!

Ash Wednesday

yep yesterday was kind of religious and so is today. I am sorry deal with it.

SO the other day was Ash Wednesday. As I go to a catholic school i had to go to a liturgy but before the liturgy started i was talking to my friend. I said I needed to think of something to give up (for lent you give something up because Jesus was in the dessert for 40 days (same amount as the days in lent) with no food or drink (so he gave them up)) and my friend said I had to choose between giving up twitter or youtube. and  you know how much I am on them so I didn't choose between them I made a third option and choose that. I have given up facebook. So I am trying. It is kind of hard though because of habits. the other night I was talking to my sister and said maybe I could give up Fizzy Drinks (coke and sprite and thing) so I have also done that. So help me through this 40 days (it's less than that now) but help me.

Shrove Tuesday

Everyone is making/talking about Pancake day and I am just like well actually it's Shrove Tuesday. I go to a catholic school and am Anglican so I do know all the history behind "Pancake Day". It was originally because on Wednesday you would give up food/that sort of food and stuff (I don't know that side of things properly) but Pancakes would use up all the ingredients that they didn't need over that period of time. So they would all make Pancakes and Shrove Tuesday has now become known as Pancake day for even those who aren't religious, when in reality they don't know the meaning behind it. For some reason it bothers me I know it shouldn't but it does. People should just know the meaning behind why they do things and not do it "to be cool" or "popular"

I Spent My Day With God

I had a great day yesterday. I know it sounds weird (and kind of 'I am heavily christian be christian too') but there is nothing like spending the whole day with God. Yesterday was a well needed brake from my life. I started at 8:10 when my mum woke me up to go to church. I then went to 2 church services because I needed to be at both for different reasons. But I then got into a matching shirt and went and had some fun with lots of my youth group (and some others) at a little competition we like to call top parish. My group didn't win but we did have a hella of a good time playing games and all wearing matching tops. We went there to have fun not to be the best (even though we clearly are). It just felt nice knowing that God was there and he was looking after every single one of us (I don't want this to turn into a God talk or anything but it was so good) The other thing was that it felt like we all knew he was there.

So that turned into a god rant. But I think you would prefer that over me realizing how unfit I am. (I had to go to city fitness for PE and am still not in a good mood from it). I could talk about that tomorrow if you really want.

The youtuber today is ThatcherJoe also known as Joe Sugg. he is just plain old funny and just has all the good sides. He doesn't use youtube as a career but does it as ahobbie (I think don't get me wrong I have no clue) and is rather attractive

 (that is his sister not his Girlfriend!! so he is single as far as the public eye is aware)

homework Help

I need to go have a shower. I have had this up for almost half an hour. but I have only just thought of a good topic. Homework. We all get given it so it is the perfect topic. And I worked out how to bust your homework.
Step one: get a desk. There are many reasons for this the main one being you can keep your books on on it and don't have to keep moving things to get out of the way of others. the desk can be collapsible so on weekends and stuff you can have some more space in your room or where ever you have it. Put the desk in a quiet place where you know you won't have people come and talk to you (or anything else)

Step Two: Pile all you books. this may sound strange but you will need some order on your desk. On my desk I have three piles (all labeled with post it notes they really are handy) One is the books with no homework in them, the next one is the one with the homework I Have to do in them and the last one is anything I need to give to my parents and things like that.

Step three: Do it. I know we all want the fairy's to come over and do our homework for us but we so need to do it ourselves so...... go do it right now!!!

Just a quicky

I have to go in like 15 minutes so if this sucks I am sorry. So I need more topics to write about because my post are a lot better when I have an opinion on them. I also want to know what you want me to write about weather or not like school things or regular life stuff. I like to know what you guys want so please tell me because I can't do that if you don't want to comment. please tell me. Athletics Day

So I need to write more about things that happen at school. We had Athletics day a few weeks ago and I keep meaning to write about it so here I am writing about. I think that everyone should go to their athletics day, like, I went and I didn't sign up for any sport. I think that the environment is really motivating and energetic and It rubs off. At my school we all dress up and have a chanting competition. I really like that everyone dresses up and think it is really cool when the costumes are handmade. Here are some pictures of me and my friends at athletics day. My costume is mainly handmade apart from the top and shorts I am wearing (I can teach you how to make them if you want)

All my friends costumes are mainly handmade. But the event overall was lots of fun and I ended up losing my voice so that must mean it was a success right???

So the Youtuber today is Ricky Dillon He has an amazing taste in music (He really likes R5) and can always make me laugh! He is a part of a collab channel called Our Second Life and is currently having a collab month (where he posts a new collab every day (minus Tuesday because that is when he uploads on O2L))

School Photos

So today it was school pictures day. I couldn't have looked any worse but in  my eyes I looked fine. School pictures you should just look how you normally do. Don't make an effort because anything you do will go wrong. Luckily for me I forgot that that was today so I just did what I normally do and look okay. (I have a school uniform so Clothing isn't a worry for me). I looked okay and i am impressed with that. The one thing that I have a problem with was the fact that everyone tries to make an effort with how they look and everything and I am just like its not worth it. It is almost guaranteed that you will look bad in you ID photo. I just get annoyed when people put on extra makeup for one photo It's just that it doesn't make a diffrence all it does is make you look fake.

FunforLouis Was in My City

Hai guys. How are you?? I know I have been terrible with posting but I have my reasons. So You all know I like my youtubers. well funforlouis (Louis Cole) was in my city. I sadly found out an hour or so too late. But I still love him and when he was here he went mountain biking the place where he got the bike used to be a church. But more than that the church used to be the church that I went to and I was baptized there. So I think that it was pretty cool that he went there as it has such a special meaning to me but to him he just got a bike. I was really sad that I didn't get to meet him too. But I will meet him some day and I will give him pineapple lumps (I bought some for him in case I saw him but I am eating them so he won't get those ones I will buy him more).

People on the phone

I am so sorry. I have just been sick for the past few days and not been up to doing much other than school and sleep. I haven't even been on youtube for the past few days. Like that says a lot. I am really tired so Don't blame me. Actually blame me. Its all my fault. I just want to be happy and stress free right now. I know this is sad but I am uploading a Video on my youtube channel I will link it yo you tomorrow when It is up (jk it wasn't sad). I also just had a really nice conversation on  the phone to some random person trying to talk to my mum. How is it that I can talk to them eaiser than I can to talk to a real person that I know over the phone. Lets face it phone calls are stupid and no one likes them.

Valentines (part 2)

So I didn't end up posting again yesterday. Once I got back from youth group I went to bed because I thought that it would be best as I had been headachey if you understand what I mean. But I am feeling much better today!! I want to do something but I don't know what.


As yesterday was Valentines day and i barely posted I thought I should talk about Valentines day. So I didn't have a Valentine but I did. When celebrities say you are all my Valentine it counts but it doesn't. Riker Lynch did that. So he is technically my Valentine but you know in other ways he isn't because there will be someone that he wants to be his Valentine more than just a fan like me. Will you be my Valentine? I know its a bit late but y'know I need a Valentine still.

my friends were saying happy camp takatoa day instead of happy Valentines day and girls in my class were saying happy forever alone day but I just think even if you are alone you should say happy Valentines day.

I don't know what I was thinking

Hi guys so I started writing this yesterday in class on paper so this would have been up yesterday but I ran out of time and couldn't put it onto the computer.I wrote this in class because I finished my work early so don't think that it is weird that I wrote it in class and I only had half an hour to write so it may not be the best.

So I think I am starting to enjoy school (*gasp* IKR) and homework (*double gasp* I am so sad) but its just that feeling you get when you complete the work you did. I have decided that I need to do something with my life I don't know what but something. I need tot have that feeling of accomplishment in my life. If you knew what I meant you would understand. That is why I want to do this and Do it well (I am sorry about yesterday) I have to get better at writing this but I do think I should get a day of each week and that day I think is going to be Sundays because I often skip them anyway and I actually do things on Sundays.

The Olympics

Hello. I have had a pretty boring day. I have stayed at home for most of the day. I read some fan fiction most of the morning and put away clothes. My best friend came over and we started putting some of my posters up because we moved my room around on Thursday so I needed to put them all back up. and that is mostly done now. I watched the opening to the winter Olympic games and that was pretty cool. And that is pretty much what I did all day.



So I know valentines day is coming up and I have seen some really cool valentines day things going around there are a lot of flappy bird ones and so I thought I would share with you my favourite flappy Bird one (and there will be no youtube recommendation today I can't be nothered and Have to go right now)

Okai guys. I am back! and its FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy but I think things are going to be awkward at youth group. We are going swimming but this girl I know her ex goes to youth group and she said that she is going to be real mean to him. But oh well I will just try and avoid that. Yesterday I got a follow on tumblr by one of the most amazing people and i cried because of it. (I would tell you who but I want to do that another day just share my happiness). but I actually cried. just saying. I have time to write today. my whole family is at the pool but I am not because I am going swimming on Friday and don't really want to. I have no life I have spent the last half hour stalking Frances (a youtuber who is part of the Troye squad) videos. I came across this meep. And for some reason really liked it. I am a weird child.


For some reason I have gotton really tried really early we were eating dinner at like 6 and i was like loopy tired. Is that weird. Oh well I have a public holiday tomorrow. But my problem is like when you have jet lag see. that is a true representation of how I feel. I was acting like that all afternoon. Maybe that's what school does to people. Or maybe its just me. I dunno. I should shut up. Unless you don't want me to.


Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I feel like I should start posting photos in my blog posts. or maybe I should start recommending youtubers at the end (like after i say bai and stuff) and then have a picture of them. I'll start that tomorrow. For now here is a picture of my favourite band
